Whether you require a simple solution or something a bit more intricate Tailor Made Fabrications Ltd can provide you with bespoke, made to order stairs, platforms and fire escapes. TMF can design stairs, platforms and fire escapes to suit your particular situation or they can be fabricated to your own design specifications and drawings.

Types of Stairs & Platforms

We can produce a range of different stairs and platforms including:

• Straight staircase
• Staircase with landings (quarter turn)
• Staircase with landings (half turn)
• Spiral staircase
• Helical staircases
• Ladder access
• Ladder access with landings (half turn)
• Platform only
• Step up platform

Optional Features

You can choose between a number of different options that will determine how your stair or platform will look, and what it will cost. Please note that some of these options are not optional and will be required to meet regulations dependant on your stairs or platform, these include:

• Non-slip steps
• Open mesh steps/floor
• Durbar plate steps/floor
• Handrail/Guardrail
• Safety cages (ladders)

Material Options

Our fire escapes and staircases can be fabricated from:

• Mild steel
• Stainless steel
• GRP (Glass fibre Reinforced Plastic)
• Or a combination of all of these materials Or a combination of all of these materials

Mild steel is finished with hot dipped galvanising as standard and can be powder coated to a range of colours.
